Leadership

Ken White is the founder of the Order of the Wild Goose, inviting others to walk in “thin places” where heaven and earth are as close as one’s next breath. We walk together to become centered and aware of the ways that God is being mischievous in our lives, and to claim resources for courageous living.

He is an experienced storyteller who loves to tell stories that shape our lives and make us laugh. One of his joys is to lead walks in nature along the bogs, shores, and deserts where Biblical and Celtic Saints have trod.

Ken is currently the Associate Pastor of the Southminster Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh where he has responsibilities for mission and evangelism which allows him to pursue two of his passions. He has been deeply involved in mission work in Haiti and the Sudan and is committed to making the church a place of hospitality that welcomes the pilgrim and the weary.

Jim Farrer is our playful guide with theological studies in the U.S. and Toronto, Canada his service includes a beach ministry, mission churches on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, interim pastorates and staff resource for congregation development for a 3-state area.

He has led numerous pilgrimages to places of Christian origin: He oversees our Abba Care prayer ministry for wholeness and healing. Farrer is also one of the most broadly trained church consultants.
